China and Inner Asia Bibliography
Periodicals
Some of the most current information on a topic will be found in magazines or
journals and newspapers. College research should be focused on the information
found in the scholarly journals of each field, ie, the articles are written by
an expert in the field, there is a bibliography at the end of the article, or
extensive footnotes, and the journal is cited by other "experts" in
the field.
Journals | Newspapers
Periodical articles will be found in a variety of journal titles. Listed below
are a few journals which focus specifically on China or Asia. Do not neglect
journals which focus on a topic (de, art, science, political science, etc) as

- present. Newspaper indexes also provide a rough chronology of events for a certain
year. The newspaper indexes are located in the Microform Alcove, 2nd floor N.
Unfortunately, Tutt is unable to hold some newspapers indexes, and therefore,
newspapers are only held for current three month periods and discarded.
