PROFESSOR
GIDEON DORON is
the President of the Israeli Association of Political Science and a member
of the Executive Board of the International Political Science Association.
A graduate of the
University
of
Rochester
, he teaches at the department of Political Science at
Tel
Aviv
University
, where he served in the early 1990's as a department head. During
the 1992 elections, he was Rabin's campaign strategist. In 1993, he
was a member of the National Security Team. Between 1995 and 1999 he
served as the Chairman of the Council of the 2nd Authority for
Television and Radio. He is the author of dozens of articles in Hebrew and
English, 12 books and three edited volumes.

Electoral Revolution (1996), Government and Politics of Israel
(1997), Awaiting Representation: Politics of Women in Israel
