Join us on Saturday April 30th from 4-7 PM for an afternoon of food, music, and dancing.
We will be serving a freshly roasted pig from Larga Vista Ranch in Pueblo. Larga Vista Ranch goes beyond organic requirements, and all their livestock are pasture raised for their entire lives.
The local bluegrass and squaredance band the Grass Hat Gals will be playing a variety of music to suit every kind of taste from 5-7 PM in Benjamin's.
And Pikes Peak Traditional Dance's own Chris Conboy will be our contra dance caller for the evening. Chris will also be giving brief contra dance lessons throughout the event, so beginners don't be shy!
The event will also include a silent auction which in honor of the Earth Week values of reduce, reuse, recycle, will include only second hand items in excellent condition. The profits from this auction will help the Farm Club continue to provide Colorado College, and the surrounding community with fresh, local, organic produce from our student garden. To donate to the auction please email firstname.lastname@example.org by April 29th.
Tickets can be purchased at the Colorado College Worner Center desk for $8 for community members, and free for students.
For more information on the event please contact Brenna Thompson.
