When I go into my garden with a spade, and dig a bed,
I feel such an exhilaration and health that I discover
that I have been defrauding myself all this time in
letting others do for me what I should have done
with my own hands.
-  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Harvest Banquet:September

The farm club made a wonderful gourmet meal for faculty and community members interested in our farm at the Harvest Banquet this October. The Harvest Banquet was one of our most successful fundraising events, and we are very grateful to those who volunteered at the event and of course those who attended the event.

The Green and Bluegrass Festival:October

Great music, dancing, art, food, and activities like apple bobbing make Green and Bluegrass one of the most popular events of the year. Co-sponsored by the Carnivore Club.

Pig Roast and Contra Dance:April 30th

For this event we bought a small pig from Doug Wiley at Larga Vista Ranch in Pueblo and roasted it for twelve hours in a makeshift oven in front of Worner. We also hired a a local caller for the contra dance.

During the summer we work with 3-4 year olds from the Colorado College Childrens Center and teenagers from the Dale House.

We continue to work with Venetucci Farm, Larga Vista Ranch, the Harlan Wolfe community garden.

The CC Farm always welcomes volunteers especially newcomers! Contact anyone listed on this website to get added to our mailing list to be notified about upcoming meetings and events.
