Art/Physics Rumble 2006

The annual Art/Physics Rumble was hosted by the Physics Department this year and took place on the Barnes/Olin quad. Majors from both art and physics attended to defend their department's honor in this tradition. Click here to see more pictures.

Physics Spring Semester Picnic 2006

The Physics Department Spring Semester Picnic was May 3rd this year. It took place out at the new Ed Langer Sundial on campus and was complete with some dual grill action, plenty of delicious eats, and, of course, bocce ball! Click here for more pictures.

Physics Ski Day 2006

The Physics department hit the slopes at Arapahoe Basin this April. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we did it right with a superb "beach spot" at the bottom of the mountain complete with grill and all. It was a memorable day filled with excellent skiing, great eating, and all around good times. Click here to see more pictures.

Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Social 2005

The annual Physics Department Ice Cream social was held in early December. We had an excellent turnout including a couple journalists from local papers covering the event. The homemade ice cream was delicious and the liquid nitrogen demonstrations were very entertaining. Click here for more pictures.
