What We DoIn an effort to help students tackle complex, long, or large amounts of reading material, the Colket Fellow provides tutoring, workshops, and adjunct courses in strategies and skills for successful college reading. Students can get help with Reading Across the Disciplines, Efficiency, Comprehension, Speed Reading, Reading for Tests and Exams, Reading in a Second Language, and Purpose Driven Reading. The Reading Fellow offers group and one on one reading assistance. TUTORING Free individual sessions devoted to individual needs ranging from active reading and comprehension strategies to critical reading and analysis. for appointment: Colket Fellow

Blocks IIIand IV Reading for Speed and Efficiency! (GS 205) Register with the Colket Fellow or Patti Spoelman . Coming in the Winter and Spring! Block V & VI: Reading Adjunct: Reading for Speed and Efficiency! (GS 205) Note: You must register for Adjuncts and the Winter half-block course. Adjuncts are worth .25 credit and the half-block .5 credit. “Reading for Speed and Efficiency” adjuncts include work with a computer speed reading program; “Focused Reading” introduces basic skills for reading more effectively.
