general and broad. Shows CC holdings.

Indexes journal articles, chapters, books, dissertations and reports on psychology and
related fields.
- ERIC (EBSCO)
References to thousands of educational topics. Includes citations to journal articles,
books, theses, research reports, curriculum plans, conference papers, and standards and
guidelines.
- Professional Development Collection
Highly specialized collection of nearly 440 full text journals, designed for professional educators.
- Education Abstracts
Subjects include administration, teaching methods and curriculum, literacy, government funding, and more.
Finding Books
- TIGER
Tutt Library online catalog to books and journal titles.
- Prospector
Unified catalog of many Colorado academic and public libraries. The catalog will allow
users to view library holdings and circulation information with a single query of the
global database.
- WorldCat
Catalog of books and materials worldwide. Millions of items. Check here after exhausting
the Tiger and Prospector. Interlibrary messages can be sent from this database.
- Google
Google delivers the most relevant search results. A more sophisticated search algorithm
than other search engines.
- Librarian's Index to the Internet
A directory of sites chosen by California librarians.
- Britannica Online
Look up a topic in this online encyclopedia and connect to the internet sites and
Britannica has recommended.
CC -Education Department Links
- Directory of School Libraries Online
The front page lists a variety of countries -- from Australia to Zimbabwe
(the US is also included.) Pick a country and you'll get either a list of
libraries (in the case of most countries) or a list of subcategories. Each
listing has a linked name of the library and the location. In addition, the
listings for each US state also contain links to related sites, including
state pages relating to school libraries, resource sharing networks, and other
sites (like associations of school librarians.)

Resource package developed by EBSCO for elementary and secondary schools containing
full text resources including Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia, an animal database,
and periodical databases aimed at children and young adults (Primary Search,
Middle Search Plus, and MAS Ultra - School Edition).
- Searchasaurus
Search interface provided by EBSCO to a resource package developed for primary
and middle schools. Provides help screens and tutorials aimed at K-8 students
and access to an encyclopedia, animal database, and periodical databases for
children and young adults. This is a resource that will be available at most
public schools in the state of Colorado.
- Education World
This is an educational search engine with 50,000 sites. There are also reviews
for various sites.

U.S. Department of Education compilation of web sites.
- Blue Web'N
A searchable directory of "Blue Ribbon" education learning sites
on the web. Updated weekly. An excellent starting place.
