Join the staff of Tutt Library for Library Lunch & Learn, a series of short informative sessions. Noon most Thursdays, come for pizza and stay for a 30-45 minute presentation. Beyond Graphs and Charts - Visual Representation of Data
Are you a "visual learner?" Do you know someone who is? Displaying information visually can help us form mental models that aid in the communication of ideas (or research results) quite effectively. Amazingly large amounts of data can be represented in a relatively small space. Come to a "show and tell" of some fascinating, and downright cool, websites which demonstrate the basic principles. Rebecca Harner will lead this session.
