Join the staff of Tutt Library for Library Lunch & Learn, a series of short informative sessions. Noon most Thursdays, come for pizza and stay for a 30-45 minute presentation. "Social software" means web-based applications for building community, collaborative work, and having fun. We'll look at examples from MySpace to del.icio.us (sharing WWW bookmarks) to Flickr (photo sharing) to wikis and Writeboard (shared workspace).

Please join members of the Library Program Committee for the first of a series of campus discussions on plans for a new library for CC. We will briefly explore some resources for library planning and then open the floor for your comments and ideas. Open to students, faculty and staff.

Online Maps

Love maps? Join us to learn about some of the many online maps available on the Web. We’ll explore the wonders of Google Earth and Globalis, and also look at availability of local Colorado Springs maps, including interactive orthophotographic maps, crime maps, trails maps, and more. This exploration will be presented by Wei-Hsin Fu (GIS Technical Director) and Lisa Lister (Reference Librarian).

Let us help you sort through the sites and show you reliable sources of information regarding general health and well-being, medical and health organizations, medical conditions and their treatments, drug information, alternative medicine, as well as diet and exercise.
