What I do

As Music Librarian, I work directly with students and faculty in the Music Department. I also am the Music Liaison, providing assistance for the music research needs of the Colorado College community.

I’m glad to help you with your course research and assist you in locating scores and recordings for study or recreation. I am available to consult with students and faculty on their music research projects and to provide instruction on using the many resources available for music research. Additionally, I work with faculty and students to build the campus music resources.

I can help you to refine your topic or find web resources, articles, and books that you may have missed. Drop by my office in the Seay Library or call, email, or IM me to make an appointment. I’m happy to meet one-on-one with you to talk about your assignments or research. I love the thrill of the hunt, wandering down unknown paths in the music universe.

Outside the Seay Library walls, I’m a clarinetist who enjoys an active teaching and performing career. I coach students at the College and members of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony. These activities inform my work in the Seay Library.
