How to

• Renew borrowed items

  Log into your TIGER account to renew any items borrowed from our library or a Prospector library. For materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, contact the Interlibrary Loan office.

• Borrow from the library

  Campus community members must have a valid Gold Card to check out materials. See further details for students, faculty, staff, spouses and dependents, alumni, affiliates of area colleges or universities and other Colorado residents.

• Borrow from other libraries

  If you can’t find what you need at our library, try Prospector to search and request items from regional libraries. You can also submit an Interlibrary Loan request to borrow from other libraries.

• Cite sources

  Try these Style & Writing Guides.

• Use Refworks

  Refworks can help you organize citations and format notes and bibliographies. Check out the Refworks FAQ

• Connect to the wireless

  Have your own laptop? Borrow one from Circulation? Connect to the library wireless using these Help Desk instructions.

• Print to a library printer

  The library network printers are called “tuttfirstfloor” and “tuttbasement”. To print to these printers, first you have to map them using these Help Desk instructions.

• Submit a thesis

  Submit your thesis electronically to Tutt Library, and learn more about the library’s binding policies here: Thesis Submission and Binding Policies.
  

• Request a purchase

  You are welcome to suggest library materials for purchase, including books, videos, databases and journals.

• Look at past venture grant proposals

  Browse past venture grant proposals online. The Circulation Desk also keeps a folder of past proposals.

• About LAS major applications

  Associate Dean Re Evitt is happy to meet with students to talk about the LAS major and to review early drafts of their proposals. Please call 389-6686 to set up an appointment with the dean.

• Find out about CC's minor in The Book

  Find out the requirements for Colorado College’s new thematic minor in The Book (the past, present, and future of the written word in its material form).

• Access library databases from home

  When you click on our database links from off-campus, you will be asked to log in with your name and TIGER number. Once you log in, you will be able to access the database as a Colorado College user, just as if you were on-campus.
