Databases for Television

Communication & Mass Media Complete: Coverage: Early 20th century - current; Covers all areas of communication and mass media. Includes full text for over 200 titles and citations to research journals, as well as major journalism reviews, recent encyclopedias, and handbooks in the area of communications studies. Some journals are indexed back as far as the early decades of the 20th century.
Ethnic Television Network: Coverage: N/A; Comprehensive current television content in Russian via the Internet. Includes all main Russian channels with archives. Includes thousands of Russian films. (See reference librarian for username and password.)
Film & Television Literature Index: Coverage: 1980s - current; Indexes journals covering all areas of film and television, from reviews to film & TV theory to more technical aspects.
The Internet Movie Database: Coverage: 1892 - current; Searchable movie database for international films and TV shows produced in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

How to

Renew borrowed items

Log into your TIGER account to renew any items borrowed from our library or a Prospector library. For materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, contact the Interlibrary Loan office.
Borrow from the library

Campus community members must have a valid Gold Card to check out materials. See further details for students, faculty, staff, spouses and dependents, alumni, affiliates of area colleges or universities and other Colorado residents.
Borrow from other libraries

If you can’t find what you need at our library, try Prospector to search and request items from regional libraries. You can also submit an Interlibrary Loan request to borrow from other libraries.

Access library databases from home
