The book’s main texts were selected by Religion Professor Bernard McGinn and History Professor Carol Neel. Translators include Rex Warner, D. W. Robertson, Edmund Colledge, and Asian History Professor Timothy Cheek. James Trissel printed Futura display type set on the NeXT for polymer plates; text handset in monotype Spectrum. Paper is Fabriano Watercolor. Illustration on each page; some with foil stamp. The binding is the conception of Jennifer Baldwin who, with Karen Pardue of Avis Bindery, bound all the numbered copies. The binding is of dark blue fabric on boards, the signature sewn with metal wires, and a blue cloth slipcase.
