- Performance Studio A – a 150-seat, open-plan venue or “Black Box” will cater to intimate and experimental performances; may also be used for art installation projects and classes.
- Performance Studio B – will serve as a sound stage for the Film Studies program as well as 150-seat performance venue and collaborative classroom.
- Screening Room – a 100-seat facility with all the qualities of a contemporary movie theatre plus a configuration that encourages classes, small performances and lectures. Students will screen their projects in this facility.
- InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts or I.D.E.A. Space – Rather than a traditional room for the display of two-dimensional objects, the I.D.E.A. Space will focus on concepts, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to themes and issues. It will utilize objects, performance, video with installations in and around the spaces in the Cornerstone.
- Two Digital Media Labs – will accommodate music, art and film studies.
- Flexible Classroom – is the only Cornerstone space with a primary focus on music rehearsal. The room could also serve as classroom, green room, drama presentation and lecture.
- Two Interdisciplinary Classrooms – “smart” rooms, planned to be fed by an “art brain”. The rooms have blackout capabilities and feature technological pedagogies.
- Faculty Offices – Drama/Dance, Film Studies, I.D.E.A. Space curator, visiting professors.
- “Main Space” – wired and rigged for performance.
- One Seminar Classroom – doubles as conference room.
- “Experiment” Room – has plywood walls for installation, sprung floor for dance, blackout capabilities and an adjacent performance/classroom balcony.
- One Design Room – with adjacent balcony for exploring art projects.
- “The Hub” – lounge space bridging the faculty pod and classroom pod.
- Green Room Pod – The Green Room is a traditional actor lounge and preparation space for lectures, musical events and theatrical productions; it is surrounded by two large and two small dressing/makeup rooms.
