Colorado College is home to international students from all over the world. As of Fall 2018, 202 international students from 50 different countries attend Colorado College across all four years. If you are an international student, you will be in close contact with the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) team in the Center for Global Education & Field Study. Our staff is comprised of people who are truly interested in the well-being of international students and scholars.
Our responsibilities include:
Advising and interpretation of U.S. government regulations for students with an F-1 or J-1 visa
Serving as liaison with the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, sponsoring agencies, community cultural agencies and foreign embassies
Providing orientation and informational programs
Offering support with cultural adjustment and navigating the U.S.
Promoting intercultural exchange programs between international students and the campus community
Advising and supporting international faculty with their immigration status
