Mandatory Reporter Training

All College employees are classified as Mandatory Reporters and are responsible for performing duties associated with this role.  Training is available online through Canvas, the College's learning management system.  Employees are expected to complete this requirement within the first 30 days of employment.  A grade of at least 80% is required to receive completion credit.

Instructions for Accessing the Course:

The training and handouts are available online at  You can also access Canvas using your CC login through the CC single sign-in page and clicking the "Canvas" button.  Then click on the "Mandatory Reporter Training" course on your dashboard to open it.

Other Training Opportunities

CC offers numerous education and prevention opportunities for faculty, staff, and students regarding anti-discrimination and Title IX.  These include, but are not limited to, bystander intervention, ongoing workshops and programs hosted by the Wellness Resource Center, Excel@CC courses, and ad hoc requests as scheduling permits (contact or to request training tailored to you!).

Faculty and staff involved in investigation and adjudication of sex discrimination complaints receive comprehensive training regarding the dynamics and impact of sexual violence. Training also is campus-wide and ongoing for Residence Life staff, Campus Safety, Athletics, and academic departments.
